Bombstrikes return with the fourth volume of the much loved Bass Funk series and this time it is the prodigious Featurecast in the hot seat. As you would expect from such a talent, the curation takes on an air of excellence with the highest standards possible as Featurecast puts his stamp on proceedings. There is no room for fillers amongst the assembled track listing with the album being packed full of new exclusives alongside highlights from some of the scenes biggest names. It's a perfectly curated mixture of the whole Bass Funk spectrum, flowing effortlessly across tempos but maintaining the overall ethos.

The album leaves no doubt that Featurecast knows his stuff when it comes to all things bass and funk. There is plenty of music from the man himself alongside exclusives from legends such as Krafty Kuts and Basement Freaks. The album's overall dynamic and forward looking sound is solidified by the inclusion of music from the likes of Kotek, Stickybuds and Defunk to name just a few. Dutty Moonshine, Stylust and Champion extend the eclectic range of outstanding music that pushes bass front and centre but also keeps the funk in tact. If that wasn't enough there is also an outstanding DJ mix from Featurecast, showcasing the skills he is world renowned for.
